This wedding marked my very first international experience as I had the honor of second shooting for the talented Lex Christie. Gianna and Parker’s wedding was not just one amazing day—it was a magical, weekend-long celebration set against the stunning backdrop of Punta Cana. This weekend reminded me just how special destination weddings can be, and it truly captured the essence of love, joy, and adventure.
A Weekend to Remember
I arrived in Punta Cana a day early, which gave me the incredible opportunity to join in on the full wedding experience. Gianna and Parker’s love for each other was palpable from the start. We spent the pre-wedding day capturing moments of laughter and excitement as the couple celebrated with their friends and family. From the rehearsal dinner to candid shots by the beach, every detail was filled with love and anticipation for the big day.
Beachside Beauty and Seaside Colors
On the wedding day, the beauty of Punta Cana’s beaches set the perfect stage for Gianna and Parker’s vows. The wedding embraced the natural surroundings, with the waves, deep blues of the ocean, and warm golden sunlight creating a stunning backdrop. Gianna’s dress was reminiscent of Alex Cooper’s iconic wedding gown, bringing a blend of elegance and modern style to the seaside setting.
