Melissa and Edward’s wedding was a beautiful and heartfelt celebration in Minneapolis. As a photographer who loves to travel and explore new places, I was thrilled to capture this destination wedding. This charming couple met on Bumble in Albany and quickly developed a strong connection. They love doing life together, and their wedding day was a testament to their deep bond and shared interests.

Meet the Bride and Groom:

Melissa and Edward are the sweetest, down-to-earth couple. They met for coffee and ended up spending the entire day together, effortlessly setting up another date. Their connection was instant and strong, both in friendship and love. They lived in New York City before moving to Minneapolis, so I had the pleasure of shooting their engagement photos in the city. Edward’s love for Bob Dylan inspired both their engagement session and their wedding day details.

Dainty Wedding Details

Their wedding day was a perfect blend of modern, timeless, and Bob Dylan-inspired details. The day began with a lovely church ceremony. Melissa looked stunning in her gown from Vow’d Minneapolis, complemented by her Loeffler Randall shoes. Her hair and makeup, done by Ziel Bridal, enhanced her natural beauty. The florals from Spruce Flowers & Events added a touch of elegance with their minimal yet modern arrangements.

Restaurant Wedding Reception

Following the ceremony, we moved to the show-stopping reception at Alma Minneapolis. The space had everything they wanted: appetizers, a family-style dinner party, and classic, timeless vibes in the restaurant. Each table was named after a different Bob Dylan album, complete with album art and recreated photos from their engagement session. The four-course dinner meal was amazing, featuring seasonal dishes and delicious bites, catered by the restaurant at Alma. The focus for Melissa and Edward was enjoying dinner with their guests, eating good food, and having meaningful conversations with their loved ones.

Melissa’s ring from A. Brandt & Son and Edward’s ring from Wixon Jewelers added a touch of timeless elegance to their day. The reception was intimate and elegant, reflecting their personalities and shared love for Bob Dylan.
